When Amanda and Greg, two busy doctors from Charlotte, reached out to me about their Asheville engagement photography, I knew we had to create something extraordinary. Despite their hectic schedules, they managed to carve out some time for a magical getaway to Asheville, and I was thrilled to be a part of their Asheville sunrise engagement session.
We began our adventure bright and early at Black Balsam, where we enbarked on a hike to the summit. I know, I know – a sunrise hike can be a tough sell, but trust me, it’s always worth it! As we reached the top, the stunning colors of the sunrise painted the sky, creating a breathtaking backdrop for Amanda and Greg’s love story.
After soaking in the morning light, we made our way back down the Blue Ridge Parkway, stopping along the way to capture some incredible shots amidst the vibrant fall foliage. The rich hues of red, orange, and yellow were the perfect complement to Amanda and Greg’s radiant smiles and undeniable connection.
Our final stop was the North Carolina Arboretum, where we were joined by the couple’s adorable fur babies for a few precious photos. It’s always such a joy to incorporate pets into engagement sessions – they’re an integral part of the family, after all!
Amanda and Greg, I had an absolute blast spending the morning with you both and getting to know you better. Your love for each other is truly inspiring, and I cannot wait to capture even more beautiful moments at your upcoming wedding at Chimney Pond Farm this summer!
