This outdoor fall engagement session is one of my favorite kinds of Asheville photography adventures. A trip up to the Blue Ridge Mountains never disappoints, as the natural landscapes are ever-changing in beauty and opportunities for adventure.
Rachel and Chris met at medical school where Rachel was studying to become a Physician’s Assistant and Chris was working in the anatomy lab. Some of their favorite things to do together are trying new food/restaurants, reading good books or watching movies, hanging out with friends, and getting a good hike in when they can. But if they had a free day to do anything at all they would pack up for a trip to the beach!
When asked the question ‘what are some things that inspire you in life?’ their response was ‘caring for and helping other people, as well as art and nature.’ My hope was to capture their outdoor fall engagement photos in a way that represented who they are as a couple, as well as what inspired them in life. I am looking forward to capturing more of their love story in March when they have their wedding at Chestnut Ridge!
