High school – and especially the senior year – is such a magical time in a teenager’s life. Often full of discovering one’s personality, special moments like football games and dances, and forging friendships which can last a lifetime. I am so proud of the way senior portraits have evolved into lifestyle sessions for my clients compared to the stiff studio headshots that were so common when I was in school. These friends senior pictures in Asheville are easily some of my favorite to date!

I had such a beautiful time with Anna and a couple of her friends. They laughed and giggled as they shared memories and jokes between them. Their personalities were infectious and I couldn’t help but smile along with them
Downtown Asheville is such a perfect spot for streetscape photos. So many restaurants, cafes, and artsy little nooks make the perfect setting for natural looking, editorial photos.
We had hoped to catch some mountain views at sunset with the girls, but unfortunately that did not happen, and boy it was windy but such fun! I think we captured some great images of these beautiful young women as they embark on their last year of high school.
