A memorable winter wedding at The Crest Center in Asheville. These two who had fallen head over heels for Asheville’s breathtaking beauty, decided there was no better place to begin their forever story. After relocating to our Asheville, they were excited to share its magic with their closest friends and family.
Welcoming with Warmth and Whimsy
Imagine getting into town & being greeted with welcome bags packed with local Asheville favorites – think Poppy Popcorn and French Broad chocolates, a “too much fun” recovery kit, and even a hot toddy set to kick off the festivities. This couple knows how to take care of their guests!
As guests arrived at the Crest Center, they were welcomed with a sparkling glass of champagne, setting the stage for the beautiful ceremony ahead. And let me tell you, the indoor mezzanine was a dream come true on chilly winter day.
A Personal Touch
One of my favorite details? Their unique seating arrangement and table numbers, inspired by their love of board games. After capturing some adorable shots of them playing games during their engagement session, seeing this theme come to life at their wedding was a full-circle moment for me. Each table was marked with pieces from their favorite games – talk about making it their day in every way! And in a sweet nod to the groom’s late grandmother, guests were treated to “Lotto Love” scratch-off favors. How fun is that?
The bride’s party prepped in style at the AC Hotel, while the groom & groomsmen prepped at the couples beautiful home. The couple’s brothers served as best man and bridesman. The brides dress was gorgeous a 1920’s vibe covered in beadwork and the veil was stunning!
But let’s talk about the food, shall we? After dinner, the couple cut into a key lime pie straight from Captain Willis’ Seafood Market in Emerald Isle, NC. And if that wasn’t sweet enough, a lavish spread of desserts from Old Europe in Asheville was there for the guests to enjoy along with a cup of coffee.
Dance the Night Away
The dance floor? Guests danced their hearts out, while upstairs, the ceremony space transformed into a game room. The groom’s family even shared a special dance that had everyone cheering.
