Winter engagement sessions are an adventure, and Kristen and Christian’s did not disappoint!
You may not be able to tell from the photos, but it was COLD. Kristen was such a trooper in order to get some shots in her sleeveless dress! I’m sure Christian’s snuggles and love kept her warm You’ll notice in some of the photos she put on her coat, because it was literally bone-chilling cold. I’m so proud of these two for braving the temperature together and having a good time doing it!
For their winter engagement, we went to one of my favorite places, Max Patch trail. This trail and overlook is just under an hour and a half from Asheville, almost on the Tennessee border. Believe me, it is WELL worth the drive! The views are panoramic and every photo I’ve taken here has been breathtaking. Christian and Kristen had never been here before, and it was so special to share their first visit with them.
Although I have lots of shoot locations in my pocket to pull from, I’d always be down to adventure somewhere new. If any of my couples want to travel to a new place, I’m all ears.
