Trish and Rob are a truly beautiful couple. They met on a blind date and it was love at first sight. Rob is a lawyer who loves Trish’s sense of humor, sarcasm, intelligence and cooking. Trish is a nurse that fell for Rob’s patience and kindness, coupled with the respect that he treats her with.
Finding Love in Asheville
They wanted to revisit the Downtown Asheville location where they first laid eyes on each other during that blind date. I loved the personal touch this detail added to their session. The city made for a beautiful backdrop to this charismatic couple’s engagement session.
You can tell by looking at these two how in love they are. Their passion and intensity resonates through the collection. But it’s not just each other they’re passionate about. Faith is very important to both Trish and Rob. Church is one of their favorite things to do together, along with watching baseball and listening to music. The images of Rob playing guitar to Trish made my heart so happy as I watched them interact from behind my lens.
I love that they are inspired by the strength of their relationship, their faith, their children and the beauty and power of nature. We captured a lot of their images surrounded by nature. Whether framed by lush trees with the sunlight flooding through and spotlighting them, or standing on the mountainside as the sunsets of the breathtaking ridge. This couple’s love remains the consistent focal point of every image.
