Tristan reached out to me to help plan his proposal to his girlfriend Samantha. They, along with another couple, were visiting the Asheville area for the weekend and he wanted to propose with the mountains in the background. The cover story was going to be that the other couple whom they were with were going to be getting engaged in a surprise proposal. Little did Samantha know it was going to be her mountain proposal near Asheville, North Carolina!
His initial idea was for us to meet up on their hike where I would capture the proposal. After chatting more he realized how difficult it was going to be to try and make everything line up so that I could capture that crucial moment. Trying to figure out how and where to meet on the mountain, the early morning start time it would take to just get to the meeting point and the risk that everyone may end up being a bit sweaty. We came up with another plan and I have to say it was nothing short of perfect!
Y’all the amount of planning that goes into a proposal! Discussing our plan, sending detailed pictures of where to stand and I would ensure that I was in the right place at the right time. Making alternate arrangement for shifting the proposal from Saturday to Sunday when it because obvious that the rain was going to “wash us out”
All this planning paid off the weather and the amazing sunrise, did this proposal ever wow us! The sky was totally showing off this morning.
