Lake Lure is gorgeous in the fall with the lake surrounded by mountains covered in fall colors, add the sunset to the mix and wow what a beautiful wedding this past fall. It is always fun to photograph a wedding in a new location and the 1927 Lake Lure Inn and Spa did not disappoint. The couple did not see each other before the wedding but had the sweetest moment holding hands on either side of a door beforehand. A horse and carriage took the bride and her mother who gave her away to a beautiful location overlooking the lake and mountains. The couple said their vows under the gazebo with laughter and a few tears. At the reception there was a sit down meal of yummy food followed by lots of dancing. This couple knows how to have fun, after dancing and toasts the couple left with a sparkler send off. Thanks to Jen Burrell Photography for letting me second shoot this wedding.
