We did not get the chance to take engagement pictures beforehand because these two could not wait to be married and took off one weekend and did just that. I really love to make each photography session different and about the people that I am photographing. So while I love family pictures in a field with beautiful sunlight streaming through that was just not what Rachel and Josh had in mind.
At first we were going to go to downtown Asheville for their photography but after chatting we decided to do a more of lifestyle session in their home. They are moving soon and wanted to document the home where they began their marriage. We put a little spin on it with Rachel having her hair done by Amy Grooms and wearing a fabulous black dress and Josh was dapper in his suit. We started their session with them playing a little Battleship and then took some pictures out front with their son. Of course we had to document them playing a little Playstation and just being them.
As you can see we had a great time and I love that you can see how much they love each other!!
