I am so excited to share today’s wedding with you, as it was full of details from start to finish. Marla and Bryan’s fall microwedding in Asheville at Chestnut Ridge was memorable in every way! The elegant white farmhouse venue was the perfect setting for their close-knit gathering. Their wedding consisted of 30 of their closest friends and family – nice and cozy.
As guests arrived, they were treated to a serving of pre-ceremony champagne. I loved how everyone grabbed a glass showing their participation in this celebration of marriage! Even in the vast space of being outdoors with the mountains in the background, the ceremony felt intimate and sentimental. Throughout the ceremony, there were happy tears and touching moments as the couple exchanged vows. Additionally, we were surrounded by beautiful fall colors that served as the inspiration for their color palette and design.
Finding Ways to Add Personal Touches
Marla and Brian absolutely love music and found ways to incorporate their passion into the day. For instance, they hired a live band and incorporated music into their seating chart/favors. This consisted of records with guests’ names written in beautiful calligraphy, which I thought was such a unique touch! They even took the time to leave a handwritten letter on each place setting . This is one of the benefits of having a microwedding. It means you are able to pay more attention to the small details. The couple’s personalities and tastes definitely shined through at this wedding. I was smitten by the modern elegant touches of Marla and Brian’s wedding!
This stunning microwedding in Asheville proves that sometimes, less is more. The intimate setting and focus on personal touches made Marla and Bryan’s wedding a day I will never forget.
