Joyful Spring Wedding at Parker Mill

Spring season is here, so wedding season is kicking into high gear! I am really looking forward to photographing so many unique 2023 weddings – I can’t say it enough, I love that I get to call this my job! Today I’m sharing this joyful spring wedding at Parker Mill and boy was it gorgeous! While the trees were still waking up from their winter nap, Hannah and Zeb’s love was in full bloom!

This was my first time photographing a wedding at Parker Mill in Whittier NC, and it did not disappoint! The Parker Mill has a breathtaking area for weddings surrounded by natural beauty. Hannah and Zeb shared their vows underneath the covered pavilion lined with church pews while the mountains peaked in the distance. After their beautiful ceremony, guests were still able to enjoy the fresh mountain air by utilizing the venue’s combined great hall with a covered patio. The weather was gorgeous, so having the large bay doors open for a portion of the reception was so lovely as the sun began to set beyond the Blue Ridge.

The owners of this venue thought of it all, even photo locations! While the ceremony and reception areas have great views of the mountains, they also have a specific overlook area designated on the property. I was able to take the couple to the overlook, and the sunset portraits were amazing.
