An Elegant NC Wedding Celebration at Chestnut Ridge Events!

Nestled just outside Asheville, NC, Chestnut Ridge Events set the stage for a truly unforgettable elegant NC Wedding this. As a photographer, I’m always enjoy the unique stories each couple brings to their special day, and this celebration was brimming with delightful surprises and stunning details.

From the moment I arrived, stunning floral arrangements that adorned every corner of the venue. The pièce de résistance? A magnificent chandelier draped in a cascade of white blooms, accented with pops of blue and hints of sunny yellow. This centerpiece set the tone for an elegant affair that seamlessly blended sophistication with personal touches.

The couple’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect of their design. Touches of blue wove throughout the decor, from the blue and white dinner plates to the elegant blue stemware.

As the day unfolded, the couple had several heartwarming surprises in store for their guests. Their beloved pups made an adorable appearance as surprise ring bearers, while their grandmothers were their flower girls. These personal moments added layers of warmth and intimacy to the celebration.

After the cake cutting the couple made an unexpected announcement: this wasn’t just their wedding day, but also their first anniversary! They had secretly tied the knot a year earlier, unable to wait to begin their life together.

The reception kicked off in style with the newlyweds showcasing their talents in a beautifully choreographed first dance. As the golden hour approached, we stole a few moments for some dreamy sunset portraits. Upon their return, the couple injected a burst of energy into the festivities, surprising everyone with glow sticks and a limbo stick. The dance floor came alive with laughter and movement, a perfect blend of elegance and uninhibited fun.

This wedding reflectd everything I love about weddings in North Carolina. The stunning natural backdrop, the thoughtful details, and the palpable love and joy all came together to create a celebration that was both visually stunning and deeply personal.
