This Downtown Charleston summer engagement session turned out gorgeous and was so fun! Ashlee and Mark are one of the sweetest couples I have had the privilege of photographing. We met up in Downtown Charleston and had so much fun spending the evening together capturing their engagement photos.
The gorgeous pastel colors and unique antebellum architecture made the perfect backdrop for this Downtown Charleston summer engagement session. All the colors of the homes and the crepe myrtle blooms and flowers paired perfectly with each of Ashlee and Mark’s outfit choices. They also brought along a vintage bike that fit in perfectly with the many sites of Downtown Charleston.
Ashlee and Mark will be getting married at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC in February and decided that they wanted to have their engagement session in an area that they admire. I always love when we can take engagement photos in a different season or location than where the wedding venue will be so that there is more variety in each couple’s photo collection.
All my wedding collections include a complimentary engagement session. This allows me to spend some more time getting to know the couple so that they feel more comfortable in front of the camera (and me behind it) on their big day!
