Nicole and her fiancé Steve got engaged on December 21, 2019. Like many couple, the pandemic altered their original wedding plans. When they reached out to me, they were traveling the East coast together while working remote! When they were planning to stop through Asheville, they reached out to me to take their engagement photos to celebrate this exciting time in their lives. We decided to take their engagement photos at Craggy gardens at sunset.
Craggy Gardens is a popular spot in Asheville for engagement photos because it’s beautiful and only a short hike from the parking area. We were able to get views of the Blue Ridge Parkway, wooded trails with lots of trees, and an amazing sunset!
Wondering what to wear for your engagement photos? Check out this session!
Nicole wore a long deep red dress for engagement photos. Steve wore a white button down dress shirt with khaki’s as a neutral coordinating outfit. When deciding what to wear for engagement photos, I always recommend a dress! Having a long flowing dress is always flattering, and it looks beautiful in the wind here in the mountains. The deep red color that Nicole picked also really popped off the background, which I love for photos!
