Sydney & David were such a pleasure to work with. Their classic wedding day at The Farm with white florals and greenery was absolutely stunning! They are both attorneys in Washington, DC. When COVID moved their work remote, they decided to work out of Asheville. I’m so glad they are able to spend time here in Asheville & D.C.!
They were married this past October at the Farm. It was my first time shooting here since they added on the outdoor pavilion, it is such a gorgeous space! This was the perfect place to hold their garden style ceremony. The lighting was amazing for photos here! Sydney mentioned they wanted to attend part of the cocktail hour, but still get some sunset portraits together. It worked out perfectly!
Their ceremony ended right at golden hour. We took family photos and then headed over to a field close by for sunset photos with mountains in the background. The views were stunning at this beautiful Asheville venue. Sydney and David were able to attend the last portion of their cocktail hour since they chose to do a first look privately before their ceremony. This allowed them to have some downtime together and catch up with all their guests before their formal dinner.
One of my favorite moments from their wedding day are their first look at “the coop” – a beautiful white chapel! One of my favorite things from their reception was their fun cake from The Milk Bar, and their late night pizza and donuts! Such a fun way to keep your guests spoiled and entertained throughout the night.
