Let’s set the scene, shall we? You know how you meet some couples and just know they’re soulmates? Well, that’s how it was when I first met Sammi and Tate. I was introduced to Sammi by another fabulous bride, Ivy. Fast forward a couple of years, and here I was, lucky enough to capture Sammi’s fairytale Castle Ladyhawke Wedding.
An Emotional Day
Y’all, get ready for this. From the second Sammi took her first step down the aisle, her hubby-to-be Tate couldn’t contain his tears. And he wasn’t alone; even the officiant had to wipe away a tear or two.
Sammi’s sisters were her bridesmaids, along with Tate’s sister. From the bridesmaid reveal to the ceremony itself, emotions were at an all-time high. Oh, and the mother-son dance? Let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
A Castle, Yes, A Castle!
If you think this wedding couldn’t get any better… they got married at Castle Ladyhawke! The weather was a dream, the perfect temperature with just the right amount of fluffy clouds. The décor? Think green and white with pops of pink and bridesmaids in beautiful blush dresses. Add cocktail hour on a terrace, with string lights and a jaw-dropping sunset.
The Special Touches
The pair said their “I dos” in front of a cross that Tate’s grandfather lovingly made. They also took a moment before the ceremony for a first look and to read their personal vows to each other.
They ended their fairytale wedding day with a private dance on the terrace and made their exit amidst a shower of sparklers.
