Matelyn and Tyler are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. When I think about this couple two words come to mind: family and faith. I have loved getting to see their love for each other and their family both grow through the years. I met Matelyn and Tyler when I captured their engagement session. This time around…I got to celebrate along with this couple as they prepared to welcome their little baby girl as their Biltmore Maternity Photographer! I love the sweet blanket they have ready to swaddle their little girl. “He has made everything beautiful in its time” from Ecclesiastes 3:11. I love the idea that they literally will be wrapping up their little girl in such a powerful verse that bonds these two together so tightly.
About this Session
Matelyn and Tyler traveled to Asheville to visit family. They knew they wanted to schedule their maternity session while in town. We decided on the ever-gorgeous Biltmore Estate for their photo location. I love taking photographs here because it is beautiful no matter the time of year. After talking about what atmosphere the couple wanted to cultivate, we had a few choices to make. The couple wanted photos during the day rather than a sunset or evening shoot. But we knew the day was forecast to be relatively hot. We decided to do a sunrise session. Which worked out great! I would recommend talking to your photographer about doing a sunrise session if you’re interested in capturing images during hot parts of the year. You get the natural light without all the heat that accompanies it.
