Asheville Family Photography | Celebrating the Easter Season
Oh how I adore the Easter season! The flowers are blooming, sweet bunnies are proudly displayed for all to see, and the kids are all dressed to the nines! The day is filled with Easter baskets filled to the brim with sweet treats, pastel eggs, adventurous hunts and of course enough yummy food to feed an army! I may be grown, with a daughter of my own, but the highlight of my Easter day is still my mama’s sweet cooking! She has such an incredible talent for home decoration, commonly going all out for every happy season we celebrate together.
As a Christian, this time of year holds such deep meaning to both me and my family. It’s a sacred time of reflection, and appreciation for the ones who bless our lives. As a Asheville Family Photography artist, I get to celebrate and highlight the love shared by so many families throughout the year. It’s times like the Easter season that allow me to pause and reflect on the love and blessing in my life.
Last year, not only were the decorations spring-themed, the dinner rolls were too! My daughter, she is the cook in our family, and her sweet grandma made these Easter Chick Rolls they stumbled across on Pinterest. While they may not have turned out exactly as their Pinterest counter-part, I still think they are pretty stinkin’ cute! Hopefully, we’ll be seeing these sweet chicks again real’ soon!
