Fast forward, I shared Matelyn Maternity session at Biltmore Estate last week and here we are already with her 6 months old. Is she adorable or what? Those rolls! She was not sure what to make of me and my camera, but with mom and dad’s help we got some great pictures. I love, love lifestyle sessions and was so tickled that they invited me into their home to photograph them with their sweet 6 month old girl.
We started the session in Arden’s nursery. Oh my! And can we talk about girlfriends room and her closet? I have closet envy, he he! I make it a point to get photographs of the littles with mom and dad together and individually. So we started with dad and baby girl in her chair. This dad is just smitten with his girl. After getting photos of them we moved on to photographing everyone on the couch in her room. Seriously, how amazing is her room? It was filled with beautiful natural light. I could have spent the afternoon hanging out in her room.
The next portion of this session was in parents room. Their bed with the white bedding made the perfect backdrop we got a few portraits of everyone together and them mom and Arden. By this point she was ready for a break. You can see a couple of the out take photos below where is she is reaching out saying I am out of here. 🙂
It was a joy to spend the day with this family in Greenville, SC and then make a trip to Costco, since I was in the area. Be sure to check out the Matelyn’s maternity session as well.
