This wedding at Wrightsville Manor was such a delight. Being from the mountains of Asheville, NC getting to travel to the coast to photograph a wedding was a treat. Even more than that though was the couple that I got to work with. They, their families and friends were so kind and easy to work with.
The Couple
I first met these two here in Asheville for their engagement session at Black Balsam. These two first met each other one summer during college when they worked together at a grocery store. I loved hearing Lindsay’s matron of honor share the story of how they both met their future husbands and gave a shout out to the grocery store, with it’s number and all!
They enjoy most of their free time relaxing at home with their dog and 2 cats, and also love going to places we’ve never been whenever we get the chance! Now I did not get to meet the cats, but Kobe was their “dog of honor”.
The Venue
This venue is beautiful with white washed exposed brick and white walls. It is absolutely gorgeous with everything so convenient and within walking distance. Lindsay and Phillip’s ceremony was outside at sunset with light light shining through the oak tree during their vows.
The Reception
Music outdoor patio, dancing, a yummy dinner were enjoyed by all. The evening ended with a few night portraits and a sparkler send off.
