Engagement season is here! The holidays have settled, and perhaps you are coming out on the other side with some brand-new jewelry on your left ring finger 😉 With engagements comes the start of planning your wedding and booking an engagement photoshoot! Although it may be cold and the foilage isn’t as vibrant, I love a romantic winter engagement session. One of my favorite places to shoot during the holiday season is hands down the Biltmore Estate.
The Biltmore holds beauty any time of year (trust me, I’ve been there during every season!), but when the holiday decorations are up, there’s nothing quite like it. The design team holds back no reservations when it comes to decorating the property during Christmas. In fact, the decorations are on display from early November through early January. This is one key reason this location is perfect for a winter engagement session.
I was smitten with the way the white lights twinkled on the evergreen trees in some of Elyse and Tyrone’s photos. This sweet couple brought such joyful energy to their session with me, it was a pleasure having them in front of my camera!
Engagement sessions during the winter months are truly magical.
