The Engagement Shoot-Wedding Stories

This past spring I took an amazing class through the Define School taught by Lauren Wagoner of Sassafras Studios.  Wedding Stories covered it all from engagement to wedding.  We explored our individual style/branding and vision throughout the entire process.  This class not only opened my eyes to not just wedding photography, but for all genre’s of photography.  It is about telling our clients “stories” , and infusing their personalities into the images.  If you are are at all interested in wedding photography I highly recommend this class. One of the assignments was to photograph a couple,  Matelyn and Tyler, were gracious enough  to come up from Greenville, SC and brave a bitter cold, early morning when the light was most beautiful, for their engagement shoot.  Along with my sweet and talented friend Candace Hightower, owner of Mingle, who provided props and her creative eye to the shoot.  This gorgeous couple, and their dog Macy, were awesome to work with.
