I photographed this sweet couple back in June of last year. Charlie and Lizzie were visiting from Florida and touring wedding venues in the area while they were here in Asheville. They wanted the best of two worlds. Seeking both mountain views and waterfalls for their engagement photo backdrop.
While typically these two settings end up requiring a decision between one location or the other… I remembered two locations relatively close to another where we could make this dream a reality. Immersed in the breathtaking mountain views of the Blue Ridge Parkway these two were full of adventure and patience.
During our shoot the wind gave us a bit of a challenge. Whipping around us like crazy at the top of the mountain. I am personally quite fond of the photos we captured with the wind blowing and the movement it adds to each photo. Also how gorgeous is Lizzie with her blue eyes, a hint of freckles and that friendly smile!
At the end of the photoshoot we discussed further how my engagement sessions are complimentary to any couple who also hires me as their wedding photographer. Meaning if they were interested in having me photograph their wedding I would happily deduct the cost of the engagement session from their wedding collection price.
So I am very excited to say that I have the privilege of photographing their wedding this July at The Farm in Candler, NC! Looking forward to capturing many more precious memories with you Charlie and Lizzie…
