Walking in high cotton…wedding and bridal workshop

POSTED ON

August 12, 2015

It was such fun photographing this couple “walking in high cotton” as part of a wedding and bridal workshop that I took last fall.  I absolutely loved that this couple modeled for us as an anniversary gift to each other..  We also had a beautiful redhead model in a Free People dress as well.  I would love to photograph a bride wearing a Free People wedding dress!

This light was just gorgeous for this session, we photographed at about an hour before sunset when the light is just yummy. This is one of the reasons I try my best to schedule sessions at this time of day.  The light at sunrise is pretty amazing as well, but I have yet to found many people willing to venture out at that early!

Have an anniversary coming up?  I would love to chat with you about a fun anniversary session!

Meet Kathy

A woman in glasses holding a coffee mug.

I’m Kathy – wedding photographer, mom of 1 daughter & 2 doodles, and avid sunset watcher. Once you’ve gotten to know a little more about me, it’ll be my turn to get to know you as too!! When I work with a couple, we usually end up feeling more like old friends by the time your wedding day arrives – which means a more relaxed, enjoyable wedding day experience for everyone. And when it comes to photo style, you’ll find your photos are vibrant and classic, in true-to-life color and timeless black and white. It’s my honor to serve joyful, authentic couples who want their wedding photos to be as timeless as their vows.
