Chestnut Ridge’s Open House a Timeless Elegant Wedding Venue
Guys! Where do I even start with this timeless elegant wedding venue? You know how obsessed with it I am from the first post I made about it’s construction! It was so amazing to see all the planning and dreams come together. Not only for the owner’s Taylor and Preston but for the brides that booked while the venue was still in the building process of dirt and 2×4’s. I loved getting to meet the brides and see how amazed and inspired they were by the venue. It was also so great to meet and hug the necks of vendors that I already felt I knew but had not met in person. I can honestly say that every vendor that Chestnut Ridge recommends has been cherry picked and that for each of them what they do is a passion and and a calling not just a “job”.
Springvine Design
Deedie’s light and airy work is gorgeous! About her business: Springvine Design‘s flower arrangements are inspired by nature, and how beautiful they look in their natural habitat. Owner, Deedie Springer is able to use the elements and principles of design, gathered from her background in art, to recreate this look in her floral arrangements. She is passionate about her clients staying true to themselves and choosing flowers, style, and designs that represent who they are.

How elegant is Becky’s Florist work? About them: with over 30 years of experience, Becky and her team of florist have stood on the platform of dedication, creativity, and hard work, and these values are still what strengthens our floral shop today. Inspired Design
Getting to work with Dottie is such a treat! I love how she paired not only the peach colors but actual peaches in the design. About Inspired Design: Using locally grown flowers as much as possible. Dottie’s garden is a big resource for cuttings from shrubs, grasses, flowers, and unusual textures and pods. Whatever is needed to bring about the desired style whether garden, modern, boho, or farm, they are an excellent resource and capture years of experience. Every event is unique and personal to the Inspired Design Team. Dottie’s work flows out of hearts seeking to love people through a business that designs and delivers florals and décor for celebrations of life.

Mingle Events planned and coordinated this amazing event! About Mingle: Owner, Candace Hightower was born and raised in Tennessee, she admires southern charm and hospitality. She lives for sharing a laugh (and glass of wine) with friends, loves monogrammed everything, and gets giddy when there is something to decorate or celebrate. These qualities make her an outstanding wedding planner. Fifty/50 the Art of Desert
I finally got to meet Mandy in person! Although I already felt like I knew her from emailing and enjoying her delicious treats. At weddings where they provide the cake, I know I need to send my assistant to grab a piece of cake because their cakes always disappear quickly! About 50/Fifty: 50/Fifty is Mandy and Chris Butler, a husband and wife team who have brought their dream of opening a dessert and pastry business to Asheville, North Carolina. Her love of cooking is only rivaled by the smile it creates on the faces of the people she cooks for. She adores the process of wedding catering and truly loves working directly with her clients from start to finish.

Y’all the porch is an amazing place to sit and chat with friends, Asheley provided the music for the porch area and it was just perfect! About Ashley: with a blend of original soul Americana music, Ashley Heath has been arising as one of Asheville’s finest musicians with “velvety” vocals and a bluesy guitar style. Raised in the foothills of Appalachia, she has developed a strong passion for country, blues, and folk music and has recently released an album of original material “A Different Stream”.

Jennifer is a dear friend and a talented videographer. She is able to capture amazing moments all while you are never aware that she is there; that is a true talent for a videographer my friends!
