Oh boy, I was so ecstatic about this session! I first met Melissa through Wedding Wire when she was helping her sister plan her wedding, and remember clicking with her and her sister immediately when I met with them in person to discuss photographing the wedding. I had such a wonderful time working with them. When Melissa asked me to photograph her family, I couldn’t have been any happier or excited! Her little, baby girl was two-months-old at the time of the session, and she was such a sweetheart and an absolute pleasure to photograph as their Asheville baby photographer.
Sweet Snuggles
The day we met for pictures was Melissa’s first day back at work, which as a mom, can be an emotional day, but she was such a trooper. I loved getting to work with this family so much! They had a beautiful home and had worked hard to create a gorgeous and comfortable nursery for their sweet, little girl. So capturing them spending time in there with her was a true treasure. But seriously…Just how cute is lil’ bit in that yellow and blue polka-dot outfit!? Swoon!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather! It was so gorgeous that day, so, of course, we had to get some images outside. And oh, the sunlight was so beautiful shining against the leaves of the trees and illuminating this stunning family! This little princess has Daddy wrapped around her finger, and both Mommy and Daddy adore their baby girl and love her so dearly. Just by the way each of them look into her big, blue eyes, it is apparent how much they truly love and cherish their sweet, little angel.
Being able to capture and document these memories for Melissa and her family was such an honor. I am so glad that I got to capture this beautiful time in their lives as their Swannanoa family photographer, and I am looking forward to working with them again in the future!
