Summer Engagement Pictures | Kate and Cody

Kate and Cody are a really beautiful couple.  We had to reschedule their session at Honeysuckle Hill in Asheville, North Carolina, due to rain but it was definitely worth the wait for this location.  It was even more than we had planned for!  There were lots of spaces available for different looks and backdrops for the loving couple on the grounds.  I really loved the lily pond, the greenery was really beautiful and that barn is magnificent!  To document these summer engagement pictures for this sweet couple was a true joy!

It is not hard to see that this couple has a special connection to one another and shares a lot of love and respect between each other.  The way they look at each other is heart warming.  One of my favorite images from this session was the one of them on the bridge over the lily pond.  They are so casual and comfortable with one another and it truly shows!  When they speak about each other they are very complimentary and have the ability to make each other laugh.

I always love capturing moments of couples laughing together on film.  It is great to have that joy captured in picture form to be able to look at over the years to come.  Additionally, they enjoy spending time with each other and travelling to new places that neither have experienced and simply ordering in and spending an evening together.  It is the simple things that bring joy to this couple.

I am so glad to have been able to get some beautiful engagement photos for this lovely couple in such a beautiful location!
