This spring wedding with blue accents at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC was beautiful and fun! Jackie and Jake’s blending of Jewish traditions really made their wedding personalized. The two shared personal vows during their first look and had us all laughing along with them. There was a chance of rain on their wedding day. It did rain and the rain shower was perfectly timed just during reception! We were able to capture some stunning couple portraits as golden hour wrapped up, including a rainbow!!! This fun group knew exactly how to turn it into a great celebration; dancing away until the end of the reception– what an entertaining group!
Chestnut Ridge: Stunning Spring Wedding Venue
Chestnut Ridge is a great place for a spring wedding. Jackie and Jake got married there, and included different Jewish traditions in their day. They had a ceremony under their own Chuppah and exchanged vows to become husband and wife. To cement this promise even further, Jackie & Jake performed a Traditional Glass Breaking Ceremony symbolizing how no hardships would ever come between the two!
Hora Dance: Celebration of Love and Family Bonds
They kicked off the opening of the dance floor with the Hora. The Hora is a traditional Jewish dance that celebrates the union of two people in marriage, as well as their bond with families. Everyone joined hands and circled around them. The dance floor was packed from that moment on. See some of the fun photos below.
