Wow! What a day! I had the pleasure of working with Tracy Waldrop on such a gorgeous evening. When my calendar is free, I enjoy being a second photographer. Tracy invited me along to cover the guys getting ready and then we met up and covered the ceremony together. The guys were such gentlemen, and I loved their positive, cheery attitudes. Not to mention, the ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, as it captured the love in such a unique, beautiful way.
About this Asheville Wedding
It poured the rain during the ceremony! Every time I hear about it raining during a wedding, I automatically jam the song “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette in my head. Rain on a wedding day is often paired with such a negative connotation – but not for this wedding party! Everybody remained relaxed and excited, so the rain did not hinder the fun of the wedding. The groom and the groomsmen showed their gentlemen sides once again, and off came their jackets to give to the ladies. Swoon!
After the ceremony, the rain eased off and the mist rolled in. This made for a gorgeous backdrop for the couple. Just look at a few of the pictures that we were able to get for them! Every image taken truly captured the chemistry between the two! They both looked amazing and sexy and everything else wonderful! What I love about this selection of pictures is that it showcases my style. I love colorful lighter images, but I also have a great love of shadows and dramatic lighting too! Hello timeless black and white images!
How gorgeous and romantic these shots turned out. It is always fun and exciting to see that no matter what the weather/circumstances as an Asheville Wedding Photographer we can still get some amazing photographs.
