Oh my, what an adventure Ryan and Leilani’s engagement session was! We knew the weather was looking a little iffy however, we decided to still go for it and try to capture their rainy engagement photos. As you can see we got drenched! These two did not let a little, or even more so, a lot of rain, dampen their spirits.
Ryan and Leilani were such a joy to be around and were full of laughter. After realizing we were going to be doing a bit more hiking than anticipated, Leilani ended up trading in her heels for Ryan’s tennis shoes! Despite the unfavorable conditions, they did not complain not once and did their best to embrace the rain, which made the adventure all the more fun to capture. There was also a bit of nostalgia for Leilani, as she shared about how this day reminded her of walking to school in the rain in Hawaii.
It actually ended up turning out to a good thing that it rained… Since our session was cut short I met up with Ryan and Leilani the next morning in downtown Asheville. I had the opportunity to meet their two beautiful dogs and capture even more photos of the whole family. What a fun story they will be able to share with their friends and family about the rainy engagement photo adventure they had!
