We had only one day scheduled to take these engagement photos and the rainy weather really made us work for them! However, I absolutely love the variety we were able to capture of these two!
When I first chatted with Richelle we were fast friends… I loved hearing the sweet story of how Cole proposed. Y’all he could not wait to pop the question and proposed while Richelle was doing laundry. 🙂 With Richelle’s family being on the West Coast and having work bring Richelle and Cole out to the East Coast, these two decided to treat their families to a taste of the mountains by having the wedding just outside of Asheville, NC at Chestnut Ridge. For their engagement session we wanted to head to Craggy for the mountain views, but this location is often tricky. The closer we got we realized this location was not happening today as it was completely covered in fog. You could hardly even see three feet in front of you! Thankfully there were overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway that were beautiful and we stopped there before heading to downtown Asheville to take a few more photos. Richelle and Cole are an absolute joy to be around and I cannot wait for their wedding day! They have put together an amazing vendor team, including special items from Cole who is talented at woodworking and making a few items for their wedding. Catch a sneak peek by checking out the heart he carved in the photos below!
Richelle & Cole we are so excited for your March wedding!
Stay tuned to see all the pretties from their special day!
