Love is one of the best things in the world. It’s so refreshing meeting and getting to capture so many unique love stories as a photographer. When you see that “look”, the sweet gestures, the genuine laughter.. There’s nothing quite like it. It fills the whole room and is almost tangible.
Celebrating Trish and Rob
Trish and Rob have a love like that. They are one of the sweetest couples, and I was honored to photograph their engagement session and recent wedding. They were married at Pretty Place, Fred W. Symmes Chapel, located at Camp Greenville YMCA. Pretty Place lives up to its namesake with absolutely gorgeous views. It was the perfect backdrop for the ceremony which was officiated by Rob’s dad. Trish’s children and their close friends were in the bridal party and made it so special. Throughout the day, Rob had messages delivered to Trish that had us onlookers swooning. The videographer, myself, and the second photographer were all teary eyed during their first look. He is so smitten over her, and it was obvious with the sweet gestures and the way he looks at her in absolute adoration.
The reception took place at Brevard Lumber Yard in Brevard, NC. The bar at the reception was custom built by Rob, with taps containing each beer’s name, and the longitude/latitude of each location on the side of the wooden pull. It was a fun celebration, complete with s’mores, horseshoes, and a photo booth. How cute is the picture of Trish and Rob at the photo booth? I just love them! Towards the end of the evening, we were blessed with an entire hour of bride and groom portraits where we were able to get amazing shots surrounded by fall leaves, mountain views, and a gorgeous lake in Brevard. The day couldn’t have been any more perfect. And more importantly, the love between these two could not have been more pure. I know Trish and Rob have so many more wonderful days ahead as husband and wife.
