Mount Pleasant Wedding Just Outside of Charleston, SC

I am so excited to share Caroline and Ronnie’s beautiful wedding day! I met Caroline when she was a bridesmaid in Claire’s wedding. There is nothing more rewarding as a wedding photographer than watching a bridesmaid become a bride. Being able to capture their day is so special! Caroline and Ronnie got married at Mount Pleasant just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Mount Pleasant is a popular wedding destination for a lot of good reasons! Don’t get me wrong, I am a mountain girl at heart! But I love visiting the coast. There are so many beautiful places to see and capture.

What’s to Love About A Mount Pleasant Wedding?

Choosing to tie the knot in Mount Pleasant is a decision brides won’t soon regret! There are many upsides to choosing this beautiful wedding destination. The gorgeous, historic city of Charleston is only 15 to 20 minutes away from Mount Pleasant. There is so much for couples and wedding guests to see and do while they’re in the area! Several beaches are close by if you want to breathe in the salty air and feel the sand between your toes. My favorite beach to visit is Sullivan’s Island. If you’re a history buff, Charleston is a city rich in history and culture. The food is beyond compare if fine dining is more your thing. You won’t be bored easily if you choose a Mount Pleasant wedding destination!

Caroline and Ronnie had such a beautiful wedding. The soft coastal colors they chose for their wedding decor paired beautifully with their Mount Pleasant wedding venue, The Exchange. The first look between Caroline and her family absolutely melted my heart. I love how they included a family member who couldn’t be present by FaceTiming them for the first look. I was really impressed by the airstream mobile cigar lounge they included for their wedding reception. It was such a unique and classy idea!

Caroline and Ronnie – I can’t thank you enough for including me in this special milestone in your lives! I wish you both many years of happiness together.

I’m Kathy – wedding photographer, mom of 1 daughter & 2 doodles, and avid sunset watcher. Once you’ve gotten to know a little more about me, it’ll be my turn to get to know you as too!! When I work with a couple, we usually end up feeling more like old friends by the time your wedding day arrives – which means a more relaxed, enjoyable wedding day experience for everyone. And when it comes to photo style, you’ll find your photos are vibrant and classic, in true-to-life color and timeless black and white.
