Ryan and Leilani first met at an Avett Brothers concert and after a night of dancing and singing the two became inseparable. Since that day they have embarked on a lifelong adventure together - backpacking through other countries, hiking with their dogs and discovering new tastes at local wineries and breweries.
I had the privilege of capturing a glimpse into their love story last year during their engagement photo session. We spent some time hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains and then wandering through the streets of Downtown Asheville with their two pups. And this month once again shared a piece of their love story at their wedding at Chestnut Ridge in Canton, NC. A beautiful example of living in love with your best friend...
With Leilani's family from Hawaii, family members wore gorgeous Leis during the ceremony and the reception. Leilani's sister performed a beautiful and emotional Hawaiian dance for the couple at their reception. Also can we just talk about about the flowers at this wedding for a second!! I have photographed many wedding at Chestnut Ridge over the last few years, but wow, the chandelier up the staircase in the ceremony - absolutely gorgeous.
