Katherine and Josh had a beautiful summer wedding with purple details at Honeysuckle Hill in Asheville. This is one of my favorite venues to shoot at because it’s beautiful any time of year. In the late summer it is especially beautiful. There is lush green gardens and sunlight pouring through the trees during golden hour. There is an open field beside the barn and a gazebo on the pond. Those are some of my favorite locations for portraits at this venue!
Honeysuckle Hill Wedding in Asheville
Katherine and Josh had purple and lavender details throughout their wedding day. The guys wore light grey suits, while the girls wore a variety of purple colored dresses. They had beautiful purple colored flowers everywhere! Their ceremony arbor was in the shape of a triangle with flowers on the point. A triangle is a symbol of stability and success, a wonderful omen to start off a marriage!
At their reception, they had jars of local apple butter for all of their guests to take home and enjoy. I hadn’t seen this wedding favor before. It was such a fun favor that I know their guests all got to enjoy! They danced the night away in the barn at Honeysuckle Hill with all their guests. It was such a fun and happy wedding day for these two. I’m so happy I got to be a part of it!
Congratulations Katherine and Josh! View some of my favorites from their Honeysuckle Hill wedding day with purple details below!
