I love this gorgeous property just outside of Asheville, and there are so many amazing spots for photographs. We headed out to capture this sweet couple’s Honeysuckle Hill Engagement Session, and boy was it fun! One of my favorite images was of the lily pad pond and all of the quaint rustic garden paths along the grounds. They wanted to be sure to have some outdoor, natural, candid photos. I knew these would turn out wonderfully for them!
Allison and Ryan’s Sunset Engagement Session
Allison had the sweetest pale blue full-length dress, and the color brought out her gorgeous blue eyes. These two were quiet and shy, but once they smiled and relaxed into the session they were a lot of fun! They brought along their puppy, Andy, who I instantly fell in love with. He is so handsome, I wanted to take him home! We were all a little surprised when he took a swim in the pond, and Ryan had to go in after him! Luckily we had some extra outfits to choose from 🙂
The rustic red barn was a great setting for Allison and Ryan in their hockey jerseys. They shared with me they are both avid fans, although I was surprised to see they favor different teams – it must make for some interesting evenings at their home when the Capitals and Red Wings play against each other! Especially because they shared they have a competitive spirit between them. I wonder if Allison knew her team was playing on her wedding day…
