Today I’m sharing Miranda and Kent’s wedding reception at the beautiful Haiku wedding venue in the heart of Asheville, NC. This couple’s love story has its start in North Carolina, so it only seems fitting they made their lifelong commitment to one another in western NC. Kent is from Raleigh where Miranda attended NC State University and lived in Asheville for a few years. They wanted to share a location that was special to them with their friends & family – it was the perfect place to host their wedding!
The venue offers a wide variety of beautiful locations for photos, and the couple also wanted to incorporate some portraits along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The overlook off the parkway was perfect to capture the mountains & it was a great way to start their coverage for the day.
Back at the venue, guests were treated to music from Dean’s Duets along with delicious cocktails from a High Spirts Mobile Bar and gorgeous floral arrangements by Flower Gallery of Asheville. Appetizers provided by Sage & Spice, and sweet treat’s by Karen Donatelli made sure everyone’s appetites were satisfied. However, the night was far from over. After mixing and mingling over tasty food and drinks, the guests danced the night away. Before the night was through, the couple enjoyed a private dance before bidding their guests farewell.
As if things couldn’t get any better for these newlyweds, they’re now honeymooning in both Hawaii and Japan. What a wonderful way to start their new life together! Miranda and Kent, your wedding was incredible from start to finish. It was an honor to be your photographer!
