You might be wondering what a Bridal Portrait Session entails?
A bridal session is commonly a southern tradition and can be a beautiful way to take portraits of you in your dress before your wedding day.
You are able to do a dry run per say of your dress, shoes and all of your accessories before the big day. Ensuring that it all comes together as you have envisioned. It gives you the opportunity to spend time together with your photographer so that you are even more comfortable in front of the camera on your wedding day. Also becoming more comfortable in your dress as you will have had an opportunity to practice being photographed in it.
More importantly, it gives you more time than you would have on your wedding day to capture even more gorgeous portraits and memories that will last a lifetime. This often is a great time to get creative and use a location that is different than your wedding venue. One that you may not have time to photograph on your actual wedding day. Choosing a location that means something special to your love story or a place that has spoken to you personally at some point in your life brings an added level of authenticity and significance to your wedding photo collection.
You could do something fun, different or nontraditional for your bridal photos. Or keep it simple and classic. The sky is the limit for your bridal portrait session inspiration!
