Rachel and Adam were such a delight for their engagement session at the North Carolina Arboretum. Especially given we had to change plans last minute due to unpredictable mountain weather. Instead of heading to higher altitudes where there was rain and fog, we settled at one of my favorite locations, the North Carolina Arboretum in Asheville. I always encourage my couples to remain optimistic in the event of weather that is not ideal. I promise I always have a solution (or two) in my back pocket!
It was so fun getting to spend time with them as we wandered around the North Carolina Arboretum, even on a cloudy day. These two made the most of our time together, and I loved the two outfit styles they chose to wear. One outfit was more laid back and casual, probably the clothes they feel most comfortable in. The second outfit was a bit more dressy, with Rachel’s dress being from Anthropologie.
A fun fact about this couple? They met online! They definitely are the perfect match, I felt their chemistry throughout our entire shoot. Although they live in Atlanta, they have a fond love for Asheville (as do I). They’ll be coming back to Asheville for their wedding in December at the Asheville Country Club.
