A Stunning Garden Party Wedding at the Bunn House

From the moment I first chatted with bride Chloe, I knew this garden party wedding at the Bunn House would be one for the books. Chloe’s vision of a garden party wedding came to life beautifully, and it was a joy to work alongside Amy from Shay Events Company at the stunning venue, the Bunn House, just outside downtown Asheville.

A Day Filled with Love and Personal Touches

The day unfolded perfectly, with a mix of clouds and sunshine creating an ideal backdrop for photography. Chloe and Thomas chose a clear tent for their reception, adorned with colorful flowers at the entrance. Throughout the day, there were countless sweet, personal touches that made the celebration uniquely theirs:

Capturing the Pre-Wedding Excitement

We began by photographing the exquisite invitation details before moving on to capture the bride and groom’s preparations. The Bunn House’s cool rooftop area provided the perfect setting for the bridesmaids to pop champagne in their cute matching PJs, kicking off the day’s festivities. Despite a bit of wind causing some champagne mishaps, these amazing ladies took it all in stride, responding with laughter rather than complaints.

A First Look to Remember

Chloe and Thomas shared a heartwarming first look with their three sweet children watching, setting the tone for a day filled with family love.

A Ceremony Surrounded by Nature’s Beauty

The ceremony was nothing short of magical. With the Bunn House as a backdrop, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by beautiful flowers and gorgeous meadows lining the walkway. One of the most touching moments was Chloe’s son, Will, walking her down the aisle.

Celebration in Style

After the ceremony and family photos, Chloe changed into her second dress of the evening – equally as gorgeous as her first ballgown, but with a completely different look. Guests mingled during the cocktail hour near beautiful vines and a charming boxwood path.

Chloe and Thomas made a grand entrance by waving to their cheering guests from the rooftop. The children at the wedding had an absolute blast, enjoying the photo booth and dance floor to the fullest.

Capturing the Magic from Above

The Bunn House’s location, just outside downtown Asheville yet surrounded by green space, allowed us to capture some incredible drone shots. We photographed the venue and downtown Asheville both during the day and at night, resulting in some truly spectacular images.

A Romantic Finale

To end the evening, Chloe and Thomas shared a private dance under the stars while their guests lined up for a bubble exit. The sight of “snowing bubbles” created a magical atmosphere and perfect photo opportunities.
