Today I’m sharing such a fun and sweet downtown Asheville wedding with you. I know you’re going to love this couple! Before their wedding, I had the pleasure of shooting Katie and Will’s engagement session – check it out here! These two are so sweet and a joy to be around, so I could not wait until their wedding day approached. Their beautiful and traditional ceremony was held at Trinity Episcopal Church. From there, guests had to only hop over a few blocks for the reception at the Century Room, which had such a cool industrial vibe.
We had such picturesque weather for their downtown Asheville wedding, and the colors were just starting to show off for mid-October. Although the ceremony and reception were held indoors, we definitely took advantage of the golden light outside. The cathedral-like chapel at the church was absolutely breathtaking. From the stained glass windows to the wooden architectural details, every inch of it was captivating! After the ceremony, we were able to capture some stunning images for the bridal party on the church grounds, which were so beautiful. Next, we all headed to the reception just a few minutes away. The inside of the reception hall had beautifully hung market lights adorning the ceilings. The romantic glow looked so lovely with the wood floors and brick walls – this venue really fit this couple’s vibe!
Katie and Will, I loved our journey of working together from your engagement to your downtown Asheville wedding day. I wish you all the best and a lifetime of happiness together!
