Sometimes, you need to escape the sights and sounds of the city and head to the mountains, and that’s exactly what this couple did! Rachel and Adam live in Atlanta, but decided an Asheville winter wedding sounded like a dream come true – and I couldn’t agree more! This was my last wedding of 2022, and I can say I ended my year of weddings on a high note.
Asheville has a lot of wonderful options for weddings but after some searching, this couple decided to host their wedding at the Country Club of Asheville. The week of the wedding had some rain, however, on their wedding day the rain subsided and the weather was perfect! The morning of the wedding, the bride and her bridesmaids got ready at an Airbnb. I spent the morning with them there, photographing the invitation suite and bridal details (peep the beautiful pops of dusty blue!) Also, the girls shared a celebratory champagne pop on the porch in their adorable robes – it was so fun! Before heading to the venue, Rachel’s mom helped her into her dress, which was such a sentimental moment. Lastly, she had a first look with her father and a dress reveal with her bridesmaids. I love being a part of these special moments!
What a way to end the 2022 wedding season. This winter wedding in Asheville was gorgeous!
Next, we headed to the Country Club. Everything was picture-perfect and full of class for their Asheville winter wedding! The ceremony was set up on the putting green overlooking a mountain view. The altar was decorated with a gorgeous lush green and white floral display. Before the ceremony, the couple shared the sweetest first look on the golf course. It was a perfect way to calm their nerves and remain focused on what the day was all about. While Rachel and Adam exchanged vows, guests were seated underneath a clear top tent, where they stayed warm and cozy.
After the ceremony, Rachel and Adam shared a private reveal of their event space. They were floored with how everything turned out, and I’m so glad I was able to capture that for them. One of the most fun surprises was finding a miniature version of their dog, Stella, on their cake! While they had the room to themselves, they shared a private dance together while the band was rehearsing – which was so special! After the introductions, first dances, toasts, and a full meal – the dance floor was officially open. Atlanta Rhythm and Groove had everyone on the dance floor – they even joined in on the fun themselves!
To close out the night, guests enjoyed a late-night snack of pizza, which was a huge hit. After the final song, guests headed outside for the grand sparkler exit. After cheers and farewells, Rachel and Adam were escorted away in a vintage Bentley and were off to the Biltmore.
I had such an amazing time with this couple and their family and friends. Every bit of their day was magical and perfect! One last thing before you go, I’d love for you to see Rachel and Adam’s engagement session! You can find that here 🙂
