The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of my favorite local places to take engagement photos around Asheville! I was so excited to meet Andy and Bethany for their sunset engagement photos there. We had the perfect weather for their session, even with the wind! It was very cold for this November engagement session, but they totally rocked it!
When you choose mountain views, the location is typically more windy. It’s worth it though! I recommend that if you have longer hair, you bring a hair tie and take a few photos with windblown hair. It always turns out beautiful.
Pro Tip: Bring a hair tie and brush or comb to your mountain top engagement sessions because of wind!
Andy and Bethany had two outfits for their engagement session. The first one was a green and blue dressier outfit, which I loved! These colors worked so well for this location, and the colors of the mountains. Their next outfit was a more casual outfit that was perfect for fall colors and prints, and Bethany even added a fun hat as an accessory.
