Any time I get to drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway and explore the overlooks is always a good day. The Parkway offers a variety of locations to stop and take in the view, but the Craggy Gardens area is one of my favorites. For this Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session, I had the pleasure of meeting Yenny & Alejandro. These two are Florida natives who wanted to show off the mountains to their families, specifically the Great Smokey Mountains. Yenny went to the University of Tennessee, so these mountains hold a special place in her heart. Since they can’t get enough of Tennessee, their wedding will be held there in October.
Getting Creative for Our Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session
Upon arriving at our session, a heavy fog was beginning to cover the top of the Craggy Pinnacle. However, I put on my creative thinking cap and decided we should walk around the parking area to see if we could capture some beauty there. While we were waiting (and hoping) for the fog to clear, we were able to get some incredible shots with some lush greenery and even some wildflowers! The fog even decided to part a bit for us so we could capture some of the majestic mountains in the background. They looked so beautiful and soft, I kind of love how these turned out, what do you think?
