Chestnut Ridge is a wedding venue I shoot at regularly, and it certainly never gets old! This month marks the one-year anniversary of Elizabeth and Jacob’s October 24th Chestnut Ridge wedding and I am thrilled to share their wedding with you. My associate photographer Jenny was the lead on this wedding while I filled in as the second shooter. A year prior to their wedding, Jenny photographed their proposal at the Biltmore Estate, so Elizabeth and Jacob were already very comfortable in front of Jenny’s lens.
When October 24th finally rolled around, we were so excited! The fall colors were showing off and the weather was incredible. From the gold decor to the flowers, the design was so beautiful and was perfect for an autumn Chestnut Ridge wedding. Elizabeth chose velvet autumnal-colored dresses for her bridesmaids, and I loved the look! All of the colors paired so well together, and it was so unique. There were so many special moments involved in their day that were very sentimental. The groom, Jacob, shared a sweet first dance with his mom and then included his two grandmothers. That really tugged on my heartstrings! While Elizabeth was getting ready, and even throughout the day, you could feel how close she was with her mom and her sister. It was really special to witness.
Jenny and I were delighted to work with this couple and their families. If you’re needing inspiration for a fall wedding, this wedding hits all of the marks! Need some more fall inspiration? Check out this wedding here!
