March in Asheville! It can go from spring like to winter in a matter of days. It was definitely winter for this gorgeous wedding. 🙂 There were snow flurries while the couple exchanged vows they had written, it was just perfect! They were prepared for the colder weather with blankets for their guests along with coffee, hot cocoa and tea along with hand warmers too.
The flowers created by Shady Grove Flowers at the entrance of Homewood were so beautiful and made the perfect backdrop to greet guests as they entered & for photos! The cakes and desserts by Cakes by Gray were both beautiful and fun – the grooms cake was a replica of the Tornado Rex board game.
The bride’s sisters & bridesmaids created a “show” with their own lyrics set to Frozen music. It was so much fun – they even had custom folders for the lyrics with B & A’s faces on the cover. As you could guess from the surprise song the bride a huge Disney fan. The Bride’s dad shared a sweet story of when she was little would dress up in mom’s pink pumps and y’all they had those very shoes for Alex to place on Brittany’s feet at the reception during Dad’s speech/toast. Such a sweet moment!
These two continued their honeymoon in a winter filled adventure in Canada! Congrats Brittany & Alex it was a pleasure working with you!
Be sure to pop over to see their summer engagement session!
