This couple were so wonderful to work with. They had me laughing throughout the entire session! They really love the outdoors, especially our gorgeous NC mountain range, and traveled from Maryland to Asheville for their engagement session. How lucky am I that they adore the Blue Ridge Mountains?! Although the weather tried to keep us away, we were able to get some really amazing pictures for this fun, energetic couple. A beautiful display of the way love always perseveres through any storm!
An Adventurous Love
Alex and Lydia were introduced by a mutual friend in 2016. Although they say the first date was not a hit, they decided to give it another chance and the second date did the trick. Second times the charm, right?…. They are an adventurous couple that loves to travel, and explore our gorgeous green Earth.
Their kindness and love for one another is obvious and contagious. Almost as contagious as their energy and enthusiasm for life. They are admittedly drawn to Asheville, where they say the mountains stole their hearts. It was important for them to capture the love they share for one another in an environment they feel so drawn to. And I’m super excited to announce, we were able to do just that.
Despite the fear of the weather not cooperating for us, we ended up getting some really cool pictures. Sunset on the Blue Ridge Parkway made for an incredible backdrop for this very special couple. The threat of bad weather also created some cool mist on the mountains that made for a unique setting that you cannot always count on during a photo session.
At the end of the day, we had an amazing time. Their love was such a joy to witness and document. I have nothing but the best wishes for a life time full of endless laughter and love.
