This Asheville wedding that was outdoors last weekend was just perfect. The weather cooperated and the couple was married in an open field with a backdrop of greenery and their reception was under the stars with the full moon serving as a backdrop.
It was serendipitous that I was able to work with this couple! I loved that Aeryn wanted me to be sure to capture photographs that would work well in black and white. Not every photograph makes for a great black and white, but we were able to get some amazing ones! Aeryn was up for any suggestions, “would you sit on the edge of that rock in your wedding dress, please?” and she went with it. This Asheville outdoor wedding venue has several different opportunities for pictures. There is lily pond with a walkway and gazebo over the pond. Bridges and landscaped walkways, and surrounding trees that were just beginning to turn with fall colors.
So for their preview I decided to do things a little differently and challenge myself to post all black and white photographs. Enjoy the highlights of the day in black and white and be sure to check back for the full blog post!
